The third in my series of Sherlock commissions for

This one is based on zoffoli's story 'The Adventure of the Mellow Face' ---->[link] in which Sherlock is stung by a bee and nursed back to health by the good doctor Watson

I chose to illustrate the scene where Sherlock is recovering from fever in his bed, refusing to let John leave his bedside. It's a very cute ending to the story, i recommend you read it :3

His face is actually very swollen in this scene but i chose to turn his head to one side (where the swelling is) as i'm not very good at drawing comical scenes without making them look 'chibi' :L

How do you get a fever from a bee sting? Does that happen if you have an allergic reaction to it?

Yeah I think if you have major allergies to anything your reaction can get pretty bad and fever-like. However this title was more of a word I thought fit the mood of the piece, take it as artistic license
